WHAT IS A PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT?
A physician assistant is a healthcare provider that works under the supervision of a physician. We can diagnose and treat patients by taking detailed medical history, performing physical exams, ordering and interpreting labs, and prescribing medication. We can also perform minor surgery and assist in major surgery as well.
